This 110 lb spreaders covers aprox 1/3 of an acre with a full hopper. I thought maybe a wheel driven type?.

Peak seasons 25a 18 x 24 green compost spreader. It is a method of mixing the seed, starter fertilizer and compost, and applying with a hose, similar to watering your lawn. Some of the commercial ones, and diy ones i've seen, have a lever/handle that disengages the rotary action of the drum.
I'm thinking of building one of these and looking for plans and ideas. It can be pushed, pulled, or towed behind a tractor. 3.2m members in the gardening community.
